Event Overview Hard Hats & Heroes provides a unique opportunity for kids of all ages to explore vehicles of all types. Participants will be allowed to touch their favorite vehicles, get behind the wheel, and meet the people who help to build, protect, and serve our community. Inflatables, food, drinks and other activities will also be available to make this a perfectly entertaining day for the entire family. This is the largest of Junior League's fundraisers.

Touch-a-Truck 2017 (called Heroes and Hardhats from 2018 on) was held Saturday, April 22 from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the St. Mary's Center for Education. There was a special horn-free hour from 10:30 until 11:30 a.m. for children with sensitive ears.
Admission was $5. Pre-event purchase price was 5 tickets for $20. Proceeds went to the Junior League's mission of alleviating hunger in our local community.
